Hi guys
Anyone know

What tools will I need to remove a clutch and dual mass fly wheel from a focus st engine? The 2.5 version
I'm limited on tools so ideally will only take what I need
Think there was a torx but I don't knw what will hold the fly to the crank either
Box is already off
Cheers

Nothing on ETIS to say they are special bolts, found a pic online of mk2 RS flywheel bolts, they appear to be 'bi-hex' bolts where you need a 12 sided socket to undo them.

Whether these are the same heads as stock ST bolts I don't know, it's been about 5yr since I did a DMF on an ST.

I think it's 9/10mm 12sided for pressure plate? flywheel could be a 16/17mm 12sided?

Weird looking heads, but a normal socket fits?

Yeh, an old school 12 sided (bi-hex) fits those bolts.

VW use them on some stuff too. (crank pulley, clutch bolts etc)

Sods law whatever tools you take it'll be something else.

Always the way huh, I went there 3 times just to take a rear wheel off an xl125, 1st time grips wouldn't budge the nut, 2nd time spanners loosened the nut but the spindle was stuck fast 3rd time hammered the spindle and got it in the post

Hopefully it'll drop off nicely, selling unneeded stuff but it could take years
