As above will it ever rise in price as the s1 as?
and will it be seen as an iconic rs ford?..

it will probably keep pace price wise as good s2,s are now starting to get thin on the ground ,but will never be as iconic as the s1

I'm sure people probably said the same about Mk2 Escorts at one point, they certainly did about Fiesta's and so on. Give it a few years and people will be saying that they wished they picked them up whilst they were still affordable...

I just wish I'd kept the £1600 S1, I had ten years ago! Be nice if it was tucked up in a garage, possibly for another ten years, and then sold for a tidy sum

As for what Mister G says - I was saying that about S2's ages ago. I wouldn't dream of dropping the kind of cash they go for now on one.
