Isnt there a different size though of them all, like GT3071, GT3076 etc??

I have no idea on the numbers etc of the Borg ones, need someone to point me in the right direction.
I admit, i have been alittle vague lol.
My T4 is pretty much maxed out. Im changing a few other bits so thought i may aswell throw the turbo into the mix too.
Changing turbo to improve spool and to remove some of the stress, but if that gains me some horseys and torques then i shall not complain. Somewhere around the 550 figure sounds like a nice place to be, but from what i was aware, thats kind of putting any of the GT30s near their limits ???

I'm no expert but I think a GT3076 will do about that, but wait and see what other people say, I'm sure a T4 can pull 550 mind.

3076 doesn't do 550 so any other variation of the 30 range won't either, although mine produces 519Ib/ft so punchy enough for my needs - not sure what a GT35 is like, Rich Sonic Boom has produced good power out of his GTX3076 , think both figures are the other side of 560

I'm running an internal gated 7670 and it should make 540-550 according to Mark, but I am restricted as I still have a 2wd manifold not a tubular, i'm told they are a 600hp turbo on the right set up though, and not a lot of lag. I'll be able to say more next week as its at the MAD camp waiting for mapping.

The thing with all these Borg warners is from the results they look to be the way forward but nobody has proved the reliability yet. Plenty of road cossies now have them fitted but no race cars or drag cars. When they have been proven on a race car to last il be fitting one.

Many other ones used and they are by far the best turbo I have used. I also have a 9180 on a evo and in running in its pulling 1 bar at 4k and I must say its bloody awesome to a 900hp turbo.

A GT3076R with a 0.82 back end will do 550bhp on the right spec engine, I've mapped a couple now and seen those sort of numbers safely.
If a BW EFR unit isn't viable for your wallet, then rather than going for a GTX, i'd strongly recommend a GT3076HTA. It should achieve 600bhp without too much hassle.

So comes to grand total of £1757 spead over a 4 or 5 year period, doesn't come close the £4000 it would cost me in one go for the EFR setup.
Now i'm not knocking it because I would have the EFR in a heart beat of I could afford it.

The turbo cost me £1000 from one of your customers Liam as I paided you if you remember (was awhile ago) the manifold I had from the old terrible T66 days which cost me £400 from A1 Rally i've had the turbosmart external wastegate form the states years ago when the it was 2 dollars to the pound so cost me £157 bearing in mind the manifold and wastegate were bought in about 2008/2009 the mapping which was done at quite a discounted rate through Danny was £200.
