ERST Specialists or people who know alot!
the tickover was a bit lumpy, and like a fool, i turned the wrong thing, underneeth the inlet manifold, theres a spring surrounding a plug that you can turn. Firstly what is this plug? and secondly, can someone advise whats needed to be done if this is changed? is it just air, cuz the car runs fine, if not slightly quicker, but is this going to damage the engine, ive sorted the tickover now only slightly lumpy, but its how its allways been.
Help needed guys!!!! thanks!

right mate i know more than any other coont on here
that is the air screw youve turned now what ya gotta remember with increasing air is you have to increase the fuel acordingly as you will get a lean mix if not inturn causeing the engine to run hot therfor rapidly decreasing the life of your lump, best advise to you to save you cash go to a reputable turbo specialist thiers plenty on here and get it set up the once then leave it do right the first time i been in this game along time and have blown lots of engines pissing around playing tuner

by the sounds of things u have just changed the idle of the car...thats what this screw is for...no harm done to the rest of the engine...only sorts out the idle...
u could always take teh car to the MOT station and get the CO checked to make sure its about 2% on idle
