Default Brake pipe flaring

Hi guys,
Having to make new copper brake lines on my mk2 xr2 just on the rears from flexi hose to wheel cylinder.
I've bought a brake pipe flaring kit I'm awaiting the delivery.

I'm just wondering what type of flare do I use on the male and female connectors?
Single flare, double flare, bubble flare etc lol

Thanks

Without sounding clever, easiest way is, you copy the old pipes.

Best tip is, if you've never made brake pipes before is to always put the nut on the pipe BEFORE you flare it.

Very easily done, always allow for a bit of brain fade when making the lengths of the pipe.

And always make the longest pipe first, then if you get it wrong length or miss the nut off, you can cut it down and use the pipe for a shorter piece

I sometimes put a bit of tape on to stop the nut part going all the way down the pipe.

one other big tip - depending on the kit that you get.. if running long pipes run the length first, clipping it in along the way...

Then you dont have it to long and have a bit on the exhaust pipe like a friends car did after coming out of a garage...

I still make this mistake every now and then!! Made a pukka pipe for my Cossie and it was spot on, flared the ends and forgot to put the fittings on!!

Made another one and it was shit!!
