pug 307 catlyist convertor warning light help
Evening all
Looking to buy a 02 plate 1.4 diesel for the misses but the advert says the warning light keeps flashing on and of but at irregular times. Any ideas what it could be, I know nothing about peugeots lol

probebly ran out of sheep piss.
although any engine management faults also flag this light up.
no good guessing, get it plugged in and give some codes.
the list is endless with these crap engines, plaugued with issues sadly

It would tell you a lot more than a bunch of us guessing on here. 
Find out (if the seller is honest) if they've tried to get it sorted, spent a shit load of money trying to fix it, been unsuccessful and now want rid.

Turns out the misses got it wrong, it was a 1.4 PETROL lol!! Anyway I got the car cheap, but when the light on the dashboard it runs like a pile of crap, when its not on it runs fine.
However on the little computer display that's sit on the dash it actually comes up with saying cat convertor fault in text and now also anti pollution filter is faulty, are these two linked in any way? Cheers

I would guess it's got a misfire and the cat warning is because it's putting un-burnt fuel into the cat, shortening it's life-span. Have changed a coil pack or two on them.
As said before no point guessing, it needs the codes read and then go from there.
