Default CV boot clip

failed its MOT as the clip has bust (pissed i didnt notice it), someone said just use a cable tie, would that be enough for a pass? i'd have thought it would need be a metal clip?

If it cant be solved with cable ties, you aren't using enough cable ties.

If its a hard rubber boot you will need a band on it because a cable tie will just pop back off the first time you put the lock on. If its soft rubber a tie will do the trick for the mot and alot longer.

Best thing to use is a jubilee clip. Do these everyday and it won't come back off
