I havnt touche dthe car, ive left it standard,and all ive done is put soft tyres on,i thought that was the deal, keepin the car standard?!?!?!?!?

Everyone is gonna be +20% on power -10%weight top speed am currently at 280km Automatic Gears Super Softs.......and using the hand controller....
Could be down to whether your using Analog controls or Not.
The gearing is a major factor in the handeling of the car's, Turn in is So much quicker with lower gears but a little more difficult to control.
NO reason why settings cant be altered IMO

IMO settings, tyres etc etc are part of the skill of the game.
Control car, same track obviously, anything else goes.
Only that way will you know no fookers cheating

You can mod eveything else on quick tune up with exceptions to Power and weight settings.

Ive been messing about with the gearing to see where the differences lie, by lowering it you loose out on the fast parts of the track, but appear to gain specificaly between Karussel and Kleiner Karussel the car doesnt slide as much coming out of corners...which is a disadvantage though.....give it a shot....see what you think.......harder to control IMO with lower gearing

some of the times i wince at the speed when entering some of the bends, even when i know what is coming i'm still amazed it comes out the other side, i think the key is big bollox i think if i went round in a real car i'd come back in a pine box B8 that time is very good i think it would be easier to maximise all settings then you can guarentee (sp) nobodys cheating

god dam i just had a go and thought i was on one doing a 7.48 i did have a BIG off on the sec to last bend flat chat and lost about 5 secs
