Default Underside Restoration

I have stripped back the underside on my Mk2 Fiesta back to bare metal, but now not to sure what to use to reseal it/ stone guard it with anyone got any info on what to use and best way to do it?

I have been reading that the POR15 stuff is good and also stuff from a company called Rustbuster www.rust.co.uk

Anyone used these before?

Any help much apprenticed

I did my s2 about 3 years ago and did the same.i used k rust on the underside then red primer then a coat of marine paint in black.comes in two tins and u mix both togeather.leaves a rubbery but flexible feel to it never had a problem with rust since.p.s cost about 60 quid to do whole of car underneath but well worth it.hope this helps

Do you have access to spray guns and a compressor?
i used 2k etch then 2k primer filler, stone gaurd then paint and clear laquer

EpoxyMastic is good stuff, not very nice to spray though as it's very thick and they don't recommend thinning it more than 10%
Did the bottom of my Sierra with it...

Mark that looks good how much epoxy mastic did you use?

I've been told bilt hamber weld through primer 3m 08800 spray able sealer

I bought 5 litres and used around 3˝ litres, but it already had some custom epoxy on there as I did it a bit at a time.

I still have 1˝ litres left so may put a bit more on just for luck if I can be arsed rubbing the bottom of the car down yet again
