xpack RS2000 VWE 990S
I was at the Croft Nostalgia show yesterday and bumped into the owner of my old MK1 Mexico. Igot his E-mail and at the moment we are swapping photos and info on the car. I've tried looking on the net before to try and trace my old MK2 RS2000 without any luck but my son has traced it to here. If the present owner of the car wants to get in touch I have plenty of photos and info on the car.
I owned it from 1987 through to about 2003 and sold it to a guy called Kev Briggs (I think) from somewhere in the North East. It was a genuine factory black RS2000 but not a genuine X-pack. When I sold it it had a capri 3 litre Atlas axle was 5 linked and on discs, with tall turrets. The front end was on roller top Bilsteins with rose jointed TCAs and a double width anti dive roll bar kit. It also had a bias pedal box and the engine was a 2.1 litre Pinto on twin 40 DCOEs.
As I said if the present owner wants to get in touch it would be nice to hear from you.

Thanks, I'll give that a try but the car's definitely been part of a thread on here back in 2009 (it was a lime green colour then) by it's owner but he had it up for sale in 2011.

Believe it or not it became this!
Thought the reg rang a bell so did some checking on a car I had a hunch it would be. Eventually found the thread, and then the description matched, scrolled down and there's the number plate. Not exactly my taste but fair amount of work.
