Default Dump valve question

Hi Guys I'm new.
I would like to ask a question, sorry if this is not the right place to put
it but here goes.
I have been using a Motorsport dump valve for a while but the noise
is getting me down. I looked around and most cossie owners seem
to like the GGR dump valve. So I bought one, as far as I know it dumps
to atmosphere but it is silent apart from some chatter. Perhaps it is
a recirc valve. Anybody throw any light.

If it was a recirc you would have had to plumb it back into the intake system before the turbo somewhere.
Is it adjustable, if so is the spring pressure set to high?

Thanks Karlos G, I realise there was no pipe to take it back ! and the spring
rate is high, all I got was turbo chatter through the intake which I have been
told will damage the turbo. Can you change the spring rate, if so how do you
know which one to choose.
