Default KAstreet overheating

Hello all,

New to the site and looking forward to getting help from you all....

simply put my wifes kasstreet keeps overheating due to the rad fan not coming on. Ive checked the fused and replaced one of them but still no joy...is there a common fault that I should be looking out of or any other advise would be greatly appriciated.... as long as its not take it to a garage please

Check you can rotate the fan(s) by hand, you need to look into why it's not getting switched on, it may have a dedicated fan switch that is not working, you can prove this by bridging the connections as a test, it may not have, in which case the ECU will activate them.

I think it uses the same fan for the Air/con, so switch the air/con on and see if the fan comes on, this will prove if the fan is ok or not
