Its a Pity but 
Admit i was going to pose my way there in the Merc until i realised it was Ford only on the stand. Still another day in the garden wont do me any harm. I wish you guys a great day & dont forget to thank Steve - 130 cars dont just happen

There is no 'rule' that says "No non-Fords on stand" but it is actively discouraged. It's a Ford event, for Ford enthusiasts. If there are non-Fords in prime locations, then people in Fords in less prime locations (understandably) complain. We have enough issues with stand allocation, without giving more reasons for people to protest. 
Tony is not 'banned' from being on stand, but the event team would appreciate prime spots being filled by show cars wherever possible.
As for the track - As far as i know the only non-Fords on track last year were Silverstone's own cars - which we are contractually obliged to allow. There may have been a handful of others, but they shouldn't have been on track.
If you want the Silverstone experience in a non-Ford may I suggest Trax, which is only a few weeks later.

I was ready until my front grill and jacking point covers started falling off lol looks like another weekend on the car doing some final fixes

Tickets and Passes have turned up. Extra tickets I had originally have been sold to a mate so it's all looking good.
Car booked in for some last minute body work so best get started on the rest of it whilst the sun is out...

This will be my first ford fair , and cant wait !!! Will deffo be over to PF stand , hopefully meet a few of ya's 
- focus is staying put at home this year, motorhoming it on the saturday night , then there all day on sunday.
Looks like youve done well with organizing 1-PD
gonna be a helluva day ! ,
The atmosphere is rising already...., hopefully see a few convoys en-route , I love that

thanks Rosco, convoys are great but a pain in the ass to arrange as it only takes one person to be late and all the planning goes out of the window and everyone is made late, but roll on 11th august for sure
