Default Best breakdown cover provider?

Alright gents,

Just looking at what peoples views are on which breakdown providers are best and any good/bad experiences. I have recently acquired my new car and i have previously been with the AA but want to get opinions from others before deciding who to go with.

Cheers guys

most are ok.

However it fucking infuriates me every fucking time they send a van for a catastrophic breakdown, despite me making it clear they cant fix it and making it clear its 4wd and cant be towed on 2 wheels.

So they waste 2 hours of my time sending a van for the guy to often not even need to open the bonnet before deciding they need a flatbed.

Nowadays i wont make the best effort to roll out of the way. I will if needs be block a junction

cunts trick yes, but if your blocking a junction or in a unsafe place they send a flatbed straight away......

being a recovery driver working on behalf of most clubs i would recommend green flag over the aa and rac as they just send a service van out to buy them 2 extra hours before they send a recovery truck out. green flag by far have the most good customer feedback. other goods ones are brittania rescue (use to be national breakdown) stay away from inter partner assistance they suck. aa and rac also limit your call outs to 4 a year. best way to get cover is personal cover not on the car that way whatever your in its covered.

I've had rac out 6 times this year due to flat battery (work away a lot) and everyone been spot on.

Never had an issue with rac.

AA seriously took the piss with me. 12 hours to relay me up the M42 & M6 - average journey time is usually around the 2.5 to 3 hours.
