Default MK1 Focus Fuel Computer

Im after fitting a Fuel Computer to my MK1 Focus Estate (Zetec Trim)

Apparently there is 'usually' a loom taped behind the clocks but ive rooted around and cannot see anything, though ive heard a lot of people say it is always there on early zetec trim cars, its hard to see behind to see if it is there! Id hate to buy one and end up splicing into the loom!

Any more info on where to check? Cheers

I was also asked to check how many wires went into the indicator stalk and there is 10, apparently that means that the loom is there but I cannot find it still?

I've heard the same. I would remove the instrument cluster (3 screws) and then should be able to see it taped up near the bar that runs length of dash, a torch would be usefull.

I found on another site they say it is taped behind the crash bar, but as in the pictures there is nothing there? Yet it has 10 wires on the indicator stalk?
