It's because they are for fags. It's not all about being low, I'm not some VAG homo so don't think that, but that car in the OP doesn't even seem that low, just looks lower because of the massive ghey tucked shiny wheels. I know people running that low static with no problems. Infact, my daily drift car probably isn't much higher that that when you look at it underneath lol. My car is only low because it fits better with the wheels, I've got no obsession with being stupid low, but the whole 'look' fits together, and it's still useable on the road.

I've got a variety of tastes when it comes to cars, one of my mates has a mint mk1 Golf that I am very fond of, but the euro/stance 'scene', as said above, really is the biggest 'clique' I've ever come across. If you don't do exactly as everyone else in their little club, they hate you, and slag you and your car off, which is ridiculous, because there are loads of good VW's out there that then get tarnished with this shitty brush, despite their owners being genuine enthusiasts, not arselicking scene kids. Don't get me started on their narrowminded views about any car with the 'wrong' badge either!

I like the passat. Not a big fan of air ride but it looks like its been done well.

I have a b5.5 on 19s and coilovers and it looks pretty low but is just as practical as it would be standard.

Don't really get the stanced stuff though especially the extreme stuff it just looks terrible and pretty pointless.

I don't think you could have a scene with more one-upmanship or clickyness than the Ford scene. Look at the RSOC, Rod etc...

I was at silverstone classics last year cause my mate had his car on the bmw owners of gb stand and they had this big tent up with loads of info about bmws.I walked into it to have a look and one of the blokes from the club came over to talk to me about cars.He said did I have a bmw.I said no ive got a saff cossie.He turned round and walked away lol.

Ive heard a few people at ford shows looking at the cars then slagging them off cause there was a small ding in the doors and the panel gap wasnt 100% right.

I used to go to a few ford shows with a lad like this.He used to slate a few cars.This lad had loads of fords but all his were fooked and needed work lol.
