Default Koni shock help!!!

Think I've just blown my shock up!
While trying to unsieze the 2nd nut off the top of the strut I used my gas torch,
While heating the nut there was a big fizz and looked like oil blew out the top where you adjust the shock,
Oil has now leaked out from the adjuster till I undid the adjuster and it stopped.
Is the shock now nackered?

Plus are the pistons supposed to be able to be pushed in by hand and come back out very slowly?
As they both do it
Or are they both in need of refurb??
Cheers
