Default Upping the escos's power ?

My Escos runs the following

Standard block + head
Group a gasket
Standard head bolts
Greens
3 bar
Airetc cooler
-31
T34 with .48 housing (refurb'd but unsure on full spec)
P8 ecu with Ahmed chip and baby board
Organic clutch
Standard trans
Rewired pump with secondary pump (going by paper work)

Boosts just over 1.3 bar going by the pod gauge and then slowly tails off, just thinking of upping the power a bit with possibly what I have, thought about getting Tony @ Turbosystems to map it and maybe fit some new injectors, what's people's thought's on a sensible upgrade to liven the old girl up a tad more ?

Obviously I'm after people opinions and maybe who has had something similar done I would ring Tony but it is 20:15 on a Friday night.

nms done a gunship mapp on my old escos with the same'ish spec and peaked 30psi dropping to 17psi then a bar on the limiter and was a dream to drive and would only cost the price of a remapp

then i would look at siemens 55s, wasted spark kit and live mapp from someone like msd

i would not bother with off the shelf chips, they all have the ignition/boost/fuel set safe ect so will never be set up to their best unless its a live mapp, it will run really nice and be safe, but for the ultimate set up live mapp is the way forward

get onto your chosen tuner be it turbosystems, msd, nms, ahmed, ect and get a proper mapp to get the most from your set up.

depends how you drive it dude - if i had an escos I'd get a strengthening plate etc for front diff before going too mad on the power or it'll only go bang..... on my old 3 door had a t34.63 with siemens blacks and a heavily ported head that had a live map from nms with 32 psi mid range dropping to 28 at the limiter and it was fucking great for a road car - karl himself said up to 120 it'd live with a 500 hp car, from then on it'd get wasted but then get caught doing that and so would you........

if i had it i would have it live mapped on greys . will be quick enough and 380-400bhp will be quick enough on the road if you drive it hard! i hate lag though

It won't realistily make 380 or 400bhp on the baby .48

All you can do from where you are is step up an injector size and run the turbo flat out, I made 370bhp and 420lb/ft on the T34.48 at 36 psi peak, smashed std gearboxes to bits with all that low down torque.

You may need a change of fuel pump depending on what you have.

Nice and easy to achieve though.

what would a sapphire cosworth make then at 26psi on greys.. staqndard engine with uprated headgasket..on a t34.48.. my mate said it made 385bhp .. would this not be possible?

not on a .48 exhaust housing, unless the temp prope was in his tea(read the other thread)
with the grays it willhave plenty fuel, but the turbo will be max'd
i'd say its 330-350 at the very most, but even that could be a push
