Default pinto timing

hi got a new power spark dizzy new inlet manifold and new webber 38 carb got car started butpopping and flame coming from carb guessing its the timing out got it tdc rotar arm on no1 lead right firing order does it have to be 10 degrees before tdc to fire right any help or pics would be very helpful cheers clint

check your leads are correct on cap and your dizzy timing is not 180 degrees out

checked that rotar arm on no1 at tdc leads ok 1,3,4,2 could be to far advanced?

make sure that the dizzy is turning the same way you have the leads set up for firing order
