Default VW experts

front doors on a bora, lock the car, reopen them an the two back open ok but front wont if you give the handle/lock a good hit with your hand the door will open? any advice welcome

The central locking unit is part of the latch system and it sounds like they are sticking. Try removing them and giving each one a good clean down with WD40 and if they are still the same its time to change the units. Its a common problem with the VW range and if you manage to free them off they will be ok for a good while otherwise they need changing.
