Default Throttle problems 1.8 mondeo

Hi new to site and could do with some advice. I've got a 51 mk3 1.8 mondeo. I'm having trouble with throttle at min. If its cold its drivable but can't put foot to floor as it won't pull so have to use less than a quarter throttle and car drives ok. One hot it's a struggle to get it above 3k in any gear under load but will rev all way round stood still. Had my code reader on it and nothing showing!!! I'm lost please help

Is it missfiring or just underpowered?

Gets worse as engine gets hot. Checked pluges and set gaps

MAF sensor?

If you have a DVM you can check the TPS my looking at resistance and slowly moving it! if there are any sudden spikes or dropouts in the reading then there is a fault!

have you checked for fault codes?
