Swop the engine

1.8 zetec is a great unit but not that tuneable unless you got plenty of dosh

I'd go

Filter
Manifold and full system with sport cat or decat if your brave
Power boost valve
And a remap

Had one of these years ago, as said I wouldn't waste money on trying to make it faster, a filter and exhaust will make no difference what so ever apart from the noise making you THINK it's faster when in actual fact it's not.

I had a mate who owned one that was chipped and it felt much more responsive..... Not sure how much they spent on it though.

My advice use the money you'd spend on go faster mods and use it on good lowering springs/brakes etc. They look good lowered on Mondeo 16" 5 spokes

But you'd probably spend more than the cars worth getting that extra 20bhp
