If its a 4x4 its on the right hand (passenger) side of the head behind the inlet
If its a 2wd its on the left hand side at the front next to the exhaust manifold

So your talking about the temp sensor and not the temp gauge sender!
This has no bearing at all on what your temp gauge reads it tells the ecu the temp of the engine'

The temp gauge sender on a 2wd head is where i told you it was before! Its on the left hand side of the head (as you look under the bonnet) at the front before the exhaust manifold. It will have a single wire on it.

must deffo have a 4wd head cos there aint nothing there mate, in fact most of the car is 4wd as it used to be one!!2wd when i bought it, the kid i bought it off was full of shit and i honestly dont have a clue why its now 2wd? i took it to jam sport and they changed the L8 FOR A L6 chipped that and changed wires over on TPS, SO I WONDER IF THIS COULD BE THE REASON FOR SOME OF THE PROBS LIKE THE TEMP GAUGE??
