Old Fords Never Die
Tension between him and vettal this year has made him decide there is life after Redbull, he is off driving porsche sportscars, so he will be doing the 24 Le-mans next year. There is a number of replacements possible.....Hamilton only has 1year deal at Mercedes.....Kimi only has a deal with Lotus until end of this year aswell.....Then there is some muppets at Toro rosa..... Paul de resta deserves a better drive than that Farce india he he

He's in the best car but still cant win because of Seb
Why would he move to a worse team?
Its clearly a career decision which gives him time to succeed in another formulae ( ie sportscars )
Good luck to him, he's a top bloke
Kimi for Red Bull and Di Resta to Lotus?

I like webber, it'll be a shame to see him go from F1 completely.
He's not got the skill level of vettel though so unfortunately he was always going to play second fiddle to him. Hopefully the person who fills his seat will have Vettel sweating it more!

I dont think he is out of order though
He was clearly promised equal terms then not given them, its not like Massa/Alonso
I did chuckle when he won Silverstone and exclaimed on the radio "Not bad for a Number 2"
I just heard it as "I'n not bad for a turd"

Lol, dont flatter yourself
for info I could have ended the sentence '..in other formulae' or 'in another formula' depending on whether i was referring to plural series or just the one, however I was using my phone on the hoof and didnt check autocomplete.
Does that satisfy your macho internet spelling and grammar policing tendancies?

Its a shame Webber is leaving F1, he seems like a nice bloke aswell as a good driver. Good luck to him elsewhere!
I wonder who will replace him, Kimi wouldn't put up with Vettel for long, i don't think they'd have Lewis as he's too much competition for Vettel, it will probably be a toro rosso driver brought up.

Testing the future
it's only a bit of banter
back on topic, it will be interesting to see who takes webbers place. hopefully somebody that can challenge him.
will also be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out - i can't see webber following any team orders to help vettel out

Happily retired
The error with your statement is they do win & most of the time . They dont sulk just dont except defeat easily bit like Fergie. Will be 4 titles in a row this year for Vettal & you think they need to sulk-get real.

I think of it more as "Four titles in a row for Adrian Newey", Vettel is merely a formality. Stick any of the top 5 drivers in that car and they'd be champ instead.
It is sad to see Webber go. For me he's always been one of F1's greatest characters. Just like losing Rubens, it just won't be the same after he's gone.

10K+ Poster!!
I like Webber, but I think he was/is too much of a gentleman on the track, needs to be a bit more like Seb or Hamilton, seems to let people pass him too easily, whereas the other 2 would never give in. I wish him the best of luck with whatever he does next.
