Default cam belt cover

Hi all.
Maybe a daft newby sort of question BUT how do you all go on with running no cam belt cover? Do you only remove for shows or run like that all the time and be Very Very carefull?
Just wondering like!

I just run it without, and am not carefull.
2 sets of rads (intercooler and radiator) are infornt of it to protect it, the cover doesn't goi to the bottom anyway so would never protect from stones below.

I dont know how you could run a car without a timing belt cover. I would be so worried incase anything happens.

i have experience of running without a cover and it made it easy to spot that a small stone had got wedged right in the bottom bit which isn't covered by a cover anyway. the belt was wearing away and i wouldn't have known about it if there was a cover in the way until it had worn through and snapped.

I run my 3 door without one . never had any trouble .

I love the look without one but without cover no drive. Imagine a marten would nibble your cambelt. Dunno if this creatures would eat such a thing but I won't risk it tbh. Need a transparent one.

Cossiemainful, nobody will know what the hell you are talking about. we don't have a problem with pine martens eating our cars in the UK. when i moved to germany in 2001 and people were talking about it i said WTF?
