Default fibreglass front wings

my 944 needs new wings from a turbo/s2 and trying to find good one's is proving to be a pita and they just end up rusting.

I've found a place to get some decent fibreglass one's which get good reviews, the only thing putting me off was someone's comments about once painted the paint can crack, go funny and generally ruin the look of the car.

has any one had fibreglass wings before and if so whats the opinions?

Yes they will star crack over time through stones hitting ect your better off spending the extra and having a set made in kevlar/carbon or carbon as there more shock resistant to chips and cracking

You could try putting some expanding foam behind them first?
Used this a few times on mk1 mondeo bumpers and a few gash body kits from the 90's to good effect.

thanks for the replys, its this pair i've been looking at

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1705160119...84.m1423.l2649

another bonus is they will take a small amount of weight off the front of the car as its going to end up getting an engine transplant
