Default Sierra Cosworth - F100 TAJ

Hi everyone,

Im relatively new here, signed up years ago but haven't been on since 25/01/2006!

Iv recently bought a 2wd Sierra Cosworth with the reg number F100 TAJ.

It was once in diamond white with a full black trim with leather fitted.

It is now painted in a rather fetching shade of green!

I was wondering if anyone had ever owned it in the past?

Did you paint it or did a previous owner?

It was a previous owner. It's been dry stored since 2004.

Not been used since 2004 hence why I thought of that god awful BMW colour.
Also very much like the new fiesta colour that came out around 2010.

Bet the guy sprayed it back in the late 90's,early 00's when you could get a dog for Ł2000,clean one for Ł4000 and a mint 3/4 year old 4x4 for Ł5/6000.

It's like a Greeny gold colour. Pretty awful if you ask me and will be going back white. Luckily it's just the outside that's green, under the bonnet and inside the boot etc are still diamond white. And yes it was cheap!

Its getting there slowly now - spent some time building the car back up with the bits that came with it - it look a bit better now.

Hi Richard, unfortunately I can only come out to play once my car is painted - I would hate to drive round with it being the monstrosity it is now!

Try just sponging it down with autoglym and a scoop of vanish in the bucket!

At least it's still around not broken up like most, it will live again and once painted will be a different car, I wouldn't let the dog see it in that colour never mind the missus

Love the garage, plenty of room in there to get it sorted.

Three year old thread fella's.

This Saff has not been on the road since 2013, DVLA check says the tax was due 03 October 2013.

Chances are it's gone now, if it was tucked away somewhere it should be on a SORN
