I can't convey my feeling of disgust. It really does add weight to the claims that the police would far rather harrass drivers in legal cars for the easy tickets than do anything with criminals with stolen cars.

Totally crap when stuff like this happends and to think the police are no help at all! I had a xr4x4 stolen and wrecked years ago, found out who did it, gave name to the police, nothing was done, didn't want to take matters into my own hands as didn't want any repurcusions for my family, karma came through in the end the bastard was found dead of a drugs overdose.
Hopefully u will get the car back or revenge.

 

Its reasons like this that i will never own a fast ford (cosworth/rs turbo e.t.c) The whole Ford scene is littered with car criminals, whenever these threads come up theres always someone from this very forum involved in the theft - Truly disgusting.

As Glenn said mate don't let thieves put you off there is plenty of other reasons to not want to own one

 

Thing is the bad people in the rs scene are far outweighed by the good ones, don't let a few bad apples stop you from the pleasures of RS ownership

 

Just get a good cctv system to keep an eye on the car if you dont have a garage.

 

The constant threat of having the car stolen would be to much of a worry for me, its not worth having my house broken into so someone can hunt around for keys, and regarding cctv, the one thing I've learnt from all these thread is that if 'they' want it they are taking it!

I was zoo close to buying a moonstone 3dr (reg was something like D445 DAB) around 5 years ago but just couldn't bring myself to do it - bought an Evo instead.

Evos go missing too. It doesnt matter what car you have if the robbing cooonts want the car, like you say they will take it.
