Anyone made a speaker shelf them selfs to hide the speakers after changing them any pics?

no, but using a dremel I cut the hellout of the factory covers and now have some 6 1/2" mb quarts hinden under them.

I got a second self and I've cut a mdf insert that I've bolted to the shelf.
Ill mount a set of 6x9's under the insert then cover it in black speaker material so they can't be seen and the hole shelf just looks black and flat.

Wouldn't that sit abit high? As 6x9s won't fit in the metal holes?

Can't picture in my head what your doing.

No the shelf will sit flat at the height it is standard I will have to cut 2 holes in the metal shelf under the parcel shelf as well

Just looks like flat shelf.
