As above folks
I've got a problem with the father inlaws Ren scenic I've got no live to the pump all wires are spot on
Fuses good
low and high speed fan work
A/c button lighting up
When powered up with my probe a/c compressor works spot on
Cleared all codes using Ren clip
Re gassed it
Watched data list
Pressure reading correctly
Switch working correctly
But
On closed loop data list
Rpm says 0 when running and authorisation says no
Done a bit of googling and a few people have said about poss being a software problem

ideally it would be nice to know what pump isn't working?fuel pump,washer pump,abs pump,water pump etc?

Its "THE pump" that's enough info to successfully diagnose the fault.

If you have a live and a earth at the pump surely the ac pump has packed up.

I've lost the live all wiring seems good
Power up the pump and its fine
A few people have Said it may need a software update
But no one has confirmed this

Had a few people say it could be a recall
Rung renualts up an they say the doesn't need a recall
But couldn't give me a price on a software download
