Ive gotta change the rear diff on me Esc Cos due to a "Launching Incident" last night where it exploded Ive got another 2wd rear diff here from me bro Im gonna put on, but just need to check which oil to use? Does anyone know please?

Dunno, but u cant get it from Ford, only £2 i think for abottle but u need 2.

Must have happened after i left because you were screaming up and down the mile when i was there

I thought it was EP 80/90 or something, available from any shop? Ive got 5 litres of gearbox EP80 here, so wondered if I coud use that?

Yes mate, was told by previous owner it is a 2wd diff.

Rich, it happened when I went to "Play" with a RX7. Raced him once, but everyone wasn't happy that I got infront from the line and stayed in front all the way down (He couldn't close the gap and I couldn't pull away), so went back to the line and as soon as I launched all the heard was "BANG" Limped her home around 1am

 

Anyone?? I need to go get the oil before the shops shut @ 5pm

U can get some for my diff too the poor thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shame i couldnt play much, gotta get another amal valve fitted so i can set the boost properly

 

im surprised you have a diff or gearbox left that works tony after you let fletch loose

 

80w-90 mineral or 75w-90 semi or fully synthetic. Depends what you want to spend but the higher the spec, the more expensive.

Diff oils are GL5 and Gearbox oils are GL4
