Hi here is my fiesta 03 plate 1.4, Bargain For £400. My first plans were to create a st replica, i bought the front bumper but then went off the idea due to money. My new plan is to lower it abit more refurbish the alloys and respray them black, get the paintwork back to mint condition, and simply keep it clean. If it was yours what would you do to it?

 

I think a bit lower would be alright but I wouldn't do the wheels black, I think they look good in white.

Also: I would remove the bit about your bumper for sale before this thread gets deleted.

i would drive it around till it stopped or something broke on it then scrap it. Its a £400 fiesta don't plough money into it

 

Is that abit of tat on the rear alloy? if so refurb them, lower it a tad more, maybe get a front splitter on it, clear side repeaters. Thats all id do, as above its only a £400 fiesta, dont spend loads on it as no matter how much you spend its still the same car. Not slating the car, there great little cars, just saying its not worth a great deal so dont put too much into it.

 

Only £400 because it was off a mate that owed me favors, Only problem is needs a new gearbox fitted which iv bought just waiting to get it fitted

 

Yeah one of the rear alloys is really messed up not sure if its repairable so i reckon ill buy a new alloy to replace it, and as said above was only £400 as it was off a mate that owed me and hes a idiot haha only thing wrong is needs a new gearbox other than that its fine.

 

Yeh keep it clean and lower it a bit more, no point point doing the st rep as it will take a while to do it to make it look identical and you may as well just save up and buy one, I'd stick some spacers on it too to bring the wheels out a bit

 

If it was mine I would fit the ST front bumper and get some escos wheels on it.

Cheap little car that.

ST kit and escossy rims would look the nuts but then will cost a bit and your insurance will sting you.

Personally if I was on a budget then I would look to pick up a cheap set of MK6 Zetec S alloys, clear side repeaters and if they are a straight fit, mk6.5 headlight to freshen the whole car up. Nice little back box and lowered a little.

Subtle mods that just smarted it up without looking like it got crashed into Halfords!

 

Leave it as it is and save for something better. Any money spent modifying this will be money lost

 

Refurb the wheels std silver.

Clean it up and give it a good polish

MOT it and sell with 6 months Tax.

Then sell it for around £1500-1800 dependent kn mileage and service history.
