I think Webber will do well today.

Also going to see a bit of barrier rubbing

nearly always a juicy crash at this venue, them mercs are quick with light fuel loads but when loaded up they can be caught

Hopefully it might rain to change the grid starting positions to race results.

As much as Monaco is a historical circuit, it's also shit for overtaking - there's much better replacement venues available now IMO. Although flipping the coin, been mm's away from a barrier that will totally destroy the car doing xxx mph takes some serious skill and confidence.

It's good to see Rosberg out qualify Hamilton, which is probably why Lewis came out with the comment about the car handling badly for him. Saying that I do like Lewis and Nico, but past races show there not leaders in race form with the current set up.

Vettle has some balls and I'd imagine he'll go for a do or die overtake ASAP.

Fuck knows what's happening to Chilton. Is the car really that bad or is he just not up to it?

Forza Ferrari Forza fernando, if they don't win then I'd like to see Nico win.

I wouldn't be too upset if Nico won't, but I think its a tall order. I think if Vettel can pass them both early he can win. I also have a feeling Perez will crash, and going on recent form, Grosjean looks likely to slap it too

Er, they qualify with the race fuel so they are just plain fast.......

........for 3 laps till they destroy the rear tyres.

Although Monaco is unusual so this may not necessarily follow

The tyre situation really needs sorting out, people aint getting to race properly.

And Grosjean is back to his usual tricks!

You're right

But the merc is genuinely quick, not because of fuel, but has huge tyre degradation, they were lucky with safety car number 1

Perez deserved his Dnf, he's too much of a shit or bust merchant!

It is irritating that they drive so slow.
Well I say slow, they really ain't..but seeing the cars parade round at 8/10ths isn't really what it shoud be about..

Bring back refuelling to keep the cars lighter and better tyres!

I think its time too get rid of the Monaco grandprix.Yes it's historic but as a race track it's shit.More of a procession than a race.

I dont see how the tyres ruin the race when the ave speed of this race was quicker than last year and the fastest lap was quicker than last year, but tyres werent an issue then

F1 has always had tyre degredation and fuel conservation, particularly in the golden years of the 80's!

the average lap was 3 tenths slower this year unless you count the show boat lap from vettel that was 5 tenths fast than his last year

But you missed the point apart from the hilly billies in the maclaren and the lotus no one was being at all daring and staying to a steady pace because of how quick the tyres fall off ! give them tyres they can race with and it will change as even te drivers are complaining like mad ! There was some good racing last year so far this year fuck all and the only thing thats changed is the tyres

I got both my crash predictions correct then

I was expecting Alonso to go a bit forwards not backwards
