The higher the mileage the more useable they are imo bought mine on 47k 9 years ago and have only covered 5k in that time if I'd bought one on 100k that had been rebuilt I'd of had alot more fun and used it more. Only reason I keep it is because its almost like a pet I'm attached to it to much.

I agree the mileage would put most off... But mine was never more than a stage one from 73k -89k stored in heated garage most it's life ..
Engine sweet as a nut ... I buy on condition not mileage .. You'll find better cars working that way .. I always have !

I agree with that.People dont wanna devalue them by driving them and putting miles on them.

Get the bugger driven.

I also think these mint examples wont get used and wont be at car shows for people to see cause they dont want there car to devalue or get damaged in any way.

Having no cars at shows will mean the shows will get quieter.

Aye mate .. Mine gets used and when it brakes it gets fixed a fresh engine build is better than a 30k engine stuck in a garage ... Nothing worse than storing cars IMO

but it means getting rid of my weapon, and don't want to end up like the last person that sold it me, wishing he never did

i seem to have spunk too much money into it to get rid, i mean how do you price such a thing? with it being a one off and noone stupid enough to replicate the work thats gone into it. its a tough one

Sorry but you so wrong here . i know of a 3 door that has had 1 owner from new , 58k on the clock and its sat there so long it needs a resto .

A car sitting in a garage for years on end does it no good atall . A 3 door with 100k plus in 26 years is hardly high miles is it? its 3800 miles a year

Condition is one to look for yeah , thats why nice ones demand top money.

Agreed my saff is a Average condition and im trying to make it a real nice one but I think leaving it lying around wont do it any good as most of the things ive had to replace is because its sat around and done nothing for the last 5 years

Rightttt im wrong. 58k isnt low mileage mate no where near low mileage. You stick to buying your kind of cars and I will stick to buying mine because we are both 100 miles aprr in why we buy them and what we look at when buying them

Last year I used mine more than ever 1400miles I really enjoyed it after having a blonde moment and wanting to sell it ... The only time mines stood is either winter months or like now having work done .. Moderately use them and there great IMO
