Agree totally with Sin,
Imo it's a DANGEROUS game buying cars for investments, unless money to you is no object.
I've said this on another thread somewhere, it's almost become a shame now because you're not seeing the cars on track we used to see 4-6 yrs ago because of this reason, folks are affraid of pranging them i guess and spares prices too.

Yes mate id like to think so, mine has 102k on the clock , fully rebuilt engine at 96k . there is rust comming through on the bottom of both doors but i have 2 NEW IN PRIMER doors that would go with the car, plus the private plate worth £1500

how can u a csl that was made in 2003 and a porsche 996 turbo to a ford that was designed in 1988, rewind back to 1988 and trust me them cars drove better than most bmws and porsches, i remember my cousins m8 bought a brand new from ford flint grey last of line on a hreg and that car is what made me and all my cousins want a cossie...![Big Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

the original m5 e34 was the last of the fully hand built m5's build quality is second to none and the cars are very capable machines, i know a bloke who had one these then bought a tuned e39 m5 and it run a 12.5 quarter mile very fast but he sold it and bought another e34..

At ripping people off. I sold my car on the 26th of september last year, i phoned up to cancel policy on the 26th. I cancelled my direct debit as payments came out on the 1st. I was working 12 hr nights and didnt send them my policy back right away. The next thing i know is a debt collection service letter through my door demanding nearly £200 for an unpaid direct debit for the next months payment. When i phoned need 2 insure to say i had sold the car on the 26th last month, as i advised them i did, they started quoting small print, saying no policy can be cancelled over the phone etc and as i hadnt returned the policy still a month later the policy was still running and now the debt was even bigger, all for a £30 installment. so i say right i will send the document first class the next day so another 2 days, they say i will get charged for another 2 days insurance for my car i sold 5 weeks ago. I hope none of you ever have to claim off need 2 insure as im sure they will have some loop hole not to pay. I admit i was in the wrong for not returning the policy as probably stated in the small print but i still swear they did not tell me that the insurance would continue till they had the certificate in their hands.
