instead of an e46 m3 have a look on autotrader for e39 M5's you can pick em up for 16 to 17K, think about it for a mo 5 litre V8, 400 unstressed bhp, nearly 400 ibft of torgue, 0-62 in 4.8 , 0-100 in around 11, deristricted they will do 189mph,
i know what my next car will be and it won't have a ford badge( sorry to all the die hard fordies) the best thing i ever did was sell my escort and get an M3 it is in a totally different league
