iam sure ian howell used a tvr or aston martin ap racing clutch in the focus , but you've got quarter masters , tilton , helix or have a word with ttv racing who make flywheels as they now custom build clutches.
whats the car for just drag racing or track day or all the above ?
clutch size of 240mm I would get a flywheel and go for 185mm as tilton for example have a clutch rated at 620lb-ft for £456 or thinking about it I think a cosworth clutch is 240mm so along as the splines are the same you could try one of them .

The Sachs is a normal style plate.it can take more torque than the ap 6 paddle setup.using my phone at the moment so can't do links. If you do a search for focus rs clutches on here there is a post i done with links for the Sachs kits. Will find some links tomorrow for you though

You'll be fine with what you have mate. Andy's S3 running similar power and 4wd works fine on the 240mm AP paddle.

My sachs unsprung 4 paddle is fine mate, I also know hockey from Scotland uses the same clutch at over 500hp. They are actually porsche turbo clutches

Devils 590bhp and Alex's 540bhp Zetecs both ran AP paddle clutches with the flywheel machines to allow more clamping force. Works fine.

i ran an AP 6 paddle with my old engine, 2.2 BAR peak and didn't slip with the gt3071r on the 2.1 zetec.
so for me i'd try one of those, but at 550bhp, i'm not sure it would go that far.

curious to know this too, i think Gary you're on the money though so it tensions the cover a bit more.
i tried the cosworth plate and frs cover, it didn't work well, may have been the cover was weak, still got it though under the bench, wouldn't hold more than 12psi of boost on the gt30, a new paddle kit from AP held 2.2 BAR, so 32psi without slipping.
