Is your oil filler cap tight or loosely fitted, as what Phil just mentioned going on the same inkling what's it run like with the crank breather off, what's the plugs look like (running colour)

The oil filer cap is tight fitted buddy since putting the dipstick back in it idles about half below 1k now still not 100% tho!
I'm not mechanically minded mate an I don't wana sound anal but whts the crank breather bud?
Ill get under the bonnet tomorow morning and have a look at the plugs, I no they were changed in jan this year mate!
Would a service do any justice even tho she had a full 1 5 months ago?

It's the pipe that breathes the crank pressure, found at the back of engine, you may find that the plugs were ok for the few months as they come with a preset gap and the electrode may have worn out slightly, also the plugs will tell you what's happening inside the combustion chamber

Plugs(wet, dry, oil deposits, heavy clumps of carbon/oil, glazed, carbon deposits,) they should be slightly tanned,
All the breather will determine is if its got excessive crank pressure from I.e rings, strainer issues, blocked filter

Sweet, check the oil breather seperator aswell as that may of reduced the engine from breathing causing the dipstick to rise
