i need to get breakdown cover for my broken down sprinter lol

RAC quoted £187 for cover on just the van.
they wont cover it under a std policy as its too big.
does anybody have good breakdown cover they can reccomend?

Don't know how old your van is but from April 2008 MB give 4 years breakdown cover and that can be extended to 30 years so long as you get it serviced in their dealer network.

You should be able to get breakdown cover through your insurance.

With the RAC its more about the length for what they term a "needs tow" , ie if they need to put it on a truck they have length limits.

I'm presuming its a LWB sprinter ??? Is it broken down at present as the RAC may well add a surcharge if your needing a call out straight away !

its an august 08 but its not been serviced by mercs so cant use them.
rac said it needs a lorry as its 1ft over the limit for a std membership. i was with a patrol guy earlier who said they may charge for an immediate call out but most guys wouldnt do it.
its mwb.

online checking of greenflag says they will cover it in a std policy. i will ring them in the morning.
