Default Focus rs bits on zetec turbo???

Hello can anyone tell me if genuine ford focus rs head bolts fit a silver top zetec turbo as I'm fitting a frs head gasket ???

And someone told me you can play around with different ford cams to get more driveability ?? Which ones??

Mines a 2.0 silver top

cant rember on the bolts.

Yes you can fit say 1.8 blacktop cams into a rs engine as for knowing what it will do i dont know but i read about a rs in performance ford awhile ago using a 1.8 inlet cam iirc with 500bhp and he said it created more bottom end.

I know the silvertop head gasnet fits the blacktop. I did that myself so I dont see why it won't work other way... As for head bolts surely as head gaskets are same they should fit..?

they should fit, i'm not sure on silver top cam swapping, i know blacktops can be mixed for varying performance changes, i'd assume silvertops would do the same.

i know i was going to aim for 300bhp but decided to settle at around 250bhp and spend money else where, like wheels, brakes and suspension ect

all zetec (and duratec ST/RS) headgaskets and bolts are interchangeable really, most companies only sell 3 layer MLS gaskets (0.6mm thick) to fit all late models, but there are thicker ones available.

you can fit a black top gasket onto silvertop and if you really wanted to (although i have no idea why you ever would), you can fit a silvertop gasket to a black top.

Bolts are the same on all models.
