Hi Ade.
No the underside of the car seemed very clean, so it was just tidied up.
All rear suspension parts taken off, them bits were then blasted, powdercoated and poly bushed. Usual stuff really.

Yeah that old bitch blatantly wasn't looking
but it's the sort of stuff that makes awesome memories mate
It was done by We Paint in Bolney mate - had sealer applied, then stone chip, then paint and lacquer

That's exactly it
It's running just over 300 brake so it won't be slow. I want to sort the handling out, poly bush everything, decent suspension, you know - that kind of stuff. May even get Ahmed to work his magic in the rear beam
This car will be about looking amazing and going very well for what it is, a 26 year old Sierra. Oh , and piece of motorsport history

Great to hear another one has been unearthed
Pop over to here and let the other owners have a gander once you have some pics
http://rs500owners.com/index.php
and I am sure Daz would like some info for the database if its a car not already listed

Congratulations Ade
I bought my 500 from Paul just over 3 years ago and it gives me great pleasure, there's something a little bit magical about them!
Few pics of mine:
I've found that a nice 20psi feels 'rewarding' after all that waiting
I hope yours proves to be as an enjoyable a project

Up-date, collected all the history for it this evening, five previous owners from new, loads of history, engine build spec, and best of all, less that sixty thousand miles from new
So pleased

Could be persuaded to try a T04Z maybe with a smaller exhaust housing
