New addition to my collection
Finally, after many years, I have an RS500 coming soon, think number 310
sensible mileage, few owners. Been sat for about nine years.Will get some pics up when I get some

Nah, got to get the beast on the road first, the 500 is going to be a slow rebuild, maybe over the next couple of years

Some time in June Rich. We're building a new garage for Mandy's Lotus Elan Sprint, this will free up room in my garage for the 500.

Nah, gonna try to get it back to as near to standard as poss. As much as it sticks in my throat I'm even going to keep the old dinosaur T4 on it

All the goodies are in my Saff mate, now have the Tremec TKO600 in with hydraulic clutch, picking up my 9" diff next Saturday, so looking forward to some proper launching in the old girl

I may pop over to Mark next Saturday (11th) as I'm in the midlands picking up my 9" diff from Bara and my other refurbed cam cover from Mick at Spray Station. Will be there early afternoon mate, let me know if you can get over, would be good to catch up mate

It sure is, I'm contemplating getting him to completely repaint our Lotus Elan Sprint. He really is out of this world. I saw a MK1 Golf GTi he did a couple of years back, it was better than when it left the factory

Did you have the underside sand blasted Phil? I'm toying with the idea of completely restoring the shell, underneath as well as on top. I guess with an RS500 you get out of it what you put into it ultimately (financially long term) if you know what I mean....
