Default Spring Rates?

Is anybody running 160lbs Springs on there rear coilovers on a 2wd cosworth?

Im no expert on cossies or there rear end setup but even if the motion ratio is 1:1 (trailing arm setup or like wise) that must be soft?? I run 300lb on rear of my clasic race mini, interested to see this

iv got 200lbs on the rear and 350bls on the front but i have a escort coss

200lbs springs Are way to hard on the road, you get to much bounce. I think 160lbs might be to soft but just asking to see if anyone is running these

nah its a track 1275 mini, i run 650 on the front

it just seems really soft for such a large car, but on the road it must come down to preference because you dont really take dynamometer graphs into consideration etc etc

dont think so mate mine still feels soft even at whats on mine

that is just one thing so you would have it set soft but for general purpose its to soft

one thing to mention is its down to te valves in the shocks to as you can end up under or over sprung

Wind the platform up and increase the preload on the spring.
