The slow speed on my VAG fans have stopped working.
The slow speed resistors have burned out. Very common on VAGs.


I have bought new resistors which are 1Ohm 100w ally clad resistors which I will
wire in to the circuit.

Now I have 8 Amp cable here which is rated at 12v - 105w.

Will this be sufficient for the the above?
Failing that I can get 17Amp cable but think this may be overkill.


Those are the only to cable choices I have as I would like to get this done tomorrow.

I would use 10 Amp cable but can't source any local.

If you put 17amp cable in surley you will cover it as wont do any harm being overkill better than fitting 8 and keep blowing it
