Default Correctly wrapped manifold

Hi guys

I've bought a manifold and not sure if its been wrapped correctly by the previous owner here's a pic.

All other manifolds I've seen the headers have been individually wrapped?

Also is there any real benifit to wrapped manifolds?

Cheers andy

heat wrap is good for lowering underbonnet temps and stopping heat transfer to nearby components. That wrapping looks ok to me!
