Default Anyone know much about BMW 7's ?

I am seriously thinking of purchasing this if the HPI report checks out

Why is it so cheap for the mileage, and what does it lack with regards to spec?

Thankyou.

cracking cruiser, not cheap to run even as a diesel.
they're very comfortable, but very heavy, factor in the auto box saps power/fuel too.
true family/executive motor though, can't think of many more comfortable motors out there.
plagued with the usual servicing costs found in BMW ownership, remap well which helps too.

cheap for mileage?
to a degree yes, but in the current climate most people are looking to go for smaller cars with smaller engines to save a few coins. i've heard the 730d's give mid 20's mpg round town and creep to mid 30's on a cruise for the autos depending on driving style of course.
a 5 series manual would do far better on juice and performance.

Well all the other ones with that price and age and mileage are 2-3k more expensivo...

Would be remapped.

I do Cornwall - Chester - Cornwall in one day quite a lot (cant sleep in hotels, beds not long enough) and tbh my 8P a3 is starting to annoy me on long journeys.

Sounds bad, but two things put me off instantly. One is the dealers name, the way it's spelt looks very unprofessional, and second the car is in Birmingham

I'm from near Birmingham & would not buy a car from there

Milage seems very low for an 03 plated diesel milage muncher as well?

However it could be a cracking car, but make sure you properly do your homework on it!

You might be better off with a VW Phaeton? dont see many about and is similarly specced and similarly frugal

forund a 3.0L V6 TD Auto on autotrader for £5950, reckon you'll get it for a lot less than that, this one looks spotless and its not from some dodgy trader in Brum
