i have 3pms in my outbox that havent sent anybody?

anybody know why they wont send or how long they take my sentbox was full i emptied it still not sent though one i have just sent now has gone but what about the others

The mails leave your outbox when the user picks the mail up in his account

Further to this, once they have sat 'Unsent' for a while in your Outbox, do they eventually disappear??
