After the timing chain broke on my brothers C180 Coupe we decided it was cheaper to put another engine in.

Looking at the new engine it seems to look reletively straight forward but not had a chance to look underneath the actual car yet.

Is there anything else that needs to be removed on these ie subframe or steering column?

Im not a mechanic but can do most things, just dont want to bite off more than i can chew!!!

Got a workshop but no ramp either!

You don't need a ramp, is it an auto or manual, disconnect the pump off the engine and leave the rack and subframe in the car and take it out through the top very easy job
