Private item, can't get message to them.

I'm betting its one of the many accounts used to bid up his items or a very late feedback reply

Click on the guy's actual account name and you can message that way, just select this is not about an item

Nope, you are covered by Paypals "buyer protection" if they cannot get the funds from the seller then paypal we payout, they have insurances to cover this sort of eventuality.

I've got the same issue with this seller, rspartsdirect. I'm waiting for four items, two were bought through second chance offers, one buy it now item and one auction won. Bought and paid for the lot on March 27, status is not shipped and I have tried to contact 2-3 times the last week but no response. The last response I got was just before Easter from a guy called Geoff. Did opened an issue with Paypal yesterday. They are awaiting response from the seller where the deadline is April 23. If the seller haven't replied the case will be escalated to Paypal for further investigation.

This is shit, but I have bought several items from this seller earlier without any issues. Think it could be some personal problems involved here...

I have the same problem with this seller. I tried to detect where he lives and etc. I know he has a proper website in the past www.cosworthshop.com. I browesed and found below.

Please note that there is a phone number there 07781 415011

I live in Indonesia, thousand miles from the UK. I tried to sms this guy, calling him many times. could anyone do something about it. track where he is now by calling his number. call the police or etc. I bought escos part from him but never here.

Might be worth if someone's going to leave him bad feedback to add in a link to this thread as someone might have some contact info but not on this site.

Ive been getting EMails directly from Ebay today telling me not to bid on the items i either already bid on or was "watching"!!!.....IT READS.....

If you haven't yet paid for this item, we strongly recommend that you do not complete this purchase. If the seller asks you to continue with the sale after the item has been ended by eBay, the item won't be covered by eBay buyer protection. Purchases completed outside of eBay are extremely risky and highly susceptible to fraud.

For more information on offers to buy or sell outside of eBay, copy this link into a new browser window:

http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policie...ebay-sale.html

***If you've already paid using PayPal***

If you've already paid for the item through eBay and you want to get your money back:

-- You can open a case in our Resolution Centre. You have to wait 7 days from the day you made your payment before you can open a case.
-- To access the Resolution Centre, go to:

http://resolutioncentre.ebay.co.uk

-- Under "I bought an item," select "I haven't received it yet."
-- We'll walk you through the process for getting a refund. Because we removed the listing, you won't be able to look up the seller's contact information.

If you've paid for this item but haven't received it, please open a case in the Resolution Centre:
http://resolutioncentre.ebay.co.uk/

***If you've paid by Western Union or MoneyGram***

If you've paid by Western Union or MoneyGram, contact the company directly (Western Union: 0800 833 833. Outside the UK, call +353 1 24 97 214 or MoneyGram +800 8971 8971).

-- If you paid by check, contact your bank to stop the payment.
-- If you paid by credit card, contact your credit card company to dispute the payment.

Our goal is to keep eBay safe so you can buy confidently. It's rare that something goes wrong with a transaction on eBay. Whenever these events do occur, we try to help as much as possible to resolve the issue.

This is an automated response, so please don't reply to this message. If you still have questions, please click the "Contact Us" link at the left of the eBay Help pages.

Thank you for your understanding.

Regards,

eBay Trust & Safety

So he could be mega ill or have maybe died ... Or could have easily ripped us so I or whoever goes to vistit go with go intentions first as I will be doing ... ive just read through the whole thread and i feel gut sick for all you guys who have paid for items, i hope you all get your money back as dealing with ebay/paypal isnt great at the best of times.

Im shocked that something of this scale has happened without ebay even being slightly suspicious, all the time im loosing faith in ebay, its a crooks paradise and so easy to just disappear..
