My rwd Escort turbo is getting close to being ready for the underneath to start getting prepped for stone chip, paint etc, I've never bare metalled the underside of a car before so not sure if it need to be seam sealed, primered, then stone chip or seam sealed, stone chipped then primered.
I know from the factory it's primer 1st but is this just easier for them to get the bare metal covered?????


So could someone tell me which order they go in please.

have a look in restorations and rebuilds there are loads on there who show it step by step
